The Birds moved up to the No. 2 spot in NFL’s power rankings, one spot above where they were in the site’s Week 14 edition.

What they’re saying: “Philadelphia didn't have a great offensive game against Carolina on Sunday, but it was good enough to earn a ninth straight win, which tied the franchise's all-time mark…Philly is a Super Bowl-caliber team, but the latest showing certainly wasn't its best.” — Eric Edholm

The Birds moved up to No. 3 in ESPN’s power rankings, one spot above where they were in last week's edition.

What they’re saying: “The Eagles had one of the worst defenses in the league in 2023 and have done a complete 180 under new coordinator Vic Fangio. Philadelphia allows the fewest yards per game (284.2) and is tied for second in points per game (18) compared with 30th last season (25.2).” — Tim McManus

What they’re saying: “It wasn't pretty against the Panthers, but good teams have games like that. The good news is they still found a way to win it.” — Pete Prisco

Despite the Birds win over the Panthers, the Eagles fell four spots from their No. 2 ranking in the site’s Week 14 edition.

What they’re saying: "I thought Brandon Graham’s assessment of A.J. Brown saying that “passing” was the team’s issue following a narrow win over the Panthers was pretty damning.” — Conor Orr
