Lissa Atkins

I am a Multiplatform Editor who handles Life pages, Monday through Saturday. I work with the editors and writers to ensure articles are factually accurate, grammatically correct, and easy to understand. I also design the Life pages, selecting art and writing headlines and photo captions.

I've been a journalist since college, working in a number of newsrooms in the South. I'm a Kentucky native, with a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. At The Philadelphia Inquirer, I was part of the group that developed Philly.com. I've also handled social media for The Inquirer before moving to the Multiplatform desk.
