T.J. Furman

I am the director of newsroom workflow and on-platform publishing, helping curate and distribute The Inquirer's stories, with a particular focus on our website and app. I also oversee the newsroom’s publishing, planning, and distribution tools, making sure they meet the needs of our journalists.

This is my second stint at The Inquirer. I was a copy editor in 2008, and then returned in 2010 to join the sports desk. I have served as the lead producer, producer, Sunday sports editor, assistant sports editor, and sports copy editor.

Before joining The Inquirer, I worked as an editor on the sports desk for Gannett New Jersey and as a reporter and editor for the The Princeton Packet Group in central New Jersey.

I graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in journalism and live in Hamilton, N.J.
