What I Do
I am a staff photographer concentrating on local news and feature photo stories with an emphasis on politics, history, and the arts.
My Background
I sold my first news photo to the Associated Press while in high school. Bill Green was mayor when I came to The Inquirer from United Press International, where I worked as a staff photographer in bureaus in Dallas, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Kansas City.
I have photographed every president since Jimmy Carter, along with hundreds of parades and ethnic festivals; press conferences and political rallies; block parties and barbecues; concerts and museum openings; and athletes competing in everything from diaper derbies to pro championships.
