I lead new content initiatives and work with editors across the newsroom to develop their coverage and audience strategies. I also supervise the Audience and Programming teams, and work closely with our Product team to improve the digital experience for Inquirer readers.

I've been a Philadelphia-based journalist for 25 years, most of it spent at The Inquirer.

As a reporter I covered higher education, the suburbs, urban redevelopment, taxes, City Hall, Philadelphia politics, and, briefly, the war in Iraq.

As an editor, I've been privileged to work with exceptional reporters both here at The Inquirer and at Philadelphia Magazine, largely focused on editing politics and narrative features.

As a manager, I've focused on digital transformation and shaping coverage to grow digital audiences. I was Editor at Philadelphia Magazine before returning to The Inquirer in 2016, where I've held the roles of Digital Managing Editor, Managing Editor, and my current position of Managing Editor for Content Strategy.
