When 'stop and frisk' goes wrong, it goes VERY wrong. An African American former Philly cop was stopped and aggressively hassled on his way to the bus stop from his child's school. As someone who doesn't like her identity checked by the TSA, being stopped on the street for no reason would infuriate me, too.
