1210 WPHT host Rich Zeoli moves to mornings

1210 WPHT-AM’s Rich Zeoli will move to mornings from his current afternoon drive slot at the station starting next week.

Station owner Entercom announced the change in a release today, writing that “The Rich Zeoli Show” will air 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. starting on Monday. Zeoli, who has been with WPHT as an on-air host since 2010, first began hosting the station’s afternoon drive in 2015.

“Rich is a compelling and thought-provoking radio host and we’re looking forward to seeing him shine in the mornings on WPHT,” Entercom Philadelphia senior vice president and market manager David Yadgaroff said. “His funny and poignant style always shines a light on what everyone is talking about.”

Zeoli, meanwhile, noted that while the move to mornings will be challenging, he is “thrilled that my team will be moving with me.”

“I am enormously grateful to the most loyal audience in talk radio and together we will make ‘The Rich Zeoli Show’ the new destination for Philadelphia listeners to start the day with information, humor, and the biggest names in politics,” Zeoli said.

Zeoli is replacing Chris Stigall who left the station in March. “I hope you’ll continue to support my friends at Talk Radio 1210 WPHT,” Stigall wrote in a farewell message on Facebook. “It’s full of good people who work very hard to keep you entertained and informed. It’s a valuable and necessary resource in the city of Philadelphia.”
