Drexel forward T.J. Bickerstaff to enter NCAA transfer portal
Bickerstaff, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, finished third on the Dragons in scoring at 10.2 points per game and second in rebounding at 5.2.
Drexel forward T.J. Bickerstaff, the team’s third-leading scorer last season, announced Thursday on Twitter that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal.
“I want to say thank you to Drexel University, Coach [Zach] Spiker, the coaching staff, my teammates, the fans and Philly for all of your support over the past 2 years,” he wrote.
“I will forever be grateful for the opportunities provided to me to grow and develop as a student athlete. With that being said and with much thought and prayer, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal to continue my journey as a student athlete.”

Bickerstaff, a 6-foot-9 sophomore from Atlanta, averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds while starting all 20 games for the Dragons, who won the Colonial Athletic Association tournament championship and competed in the NCAA Tournament. He shot 51.3% from the field and 83.9% on free throws.
