Former Penn State standout Andrew Funk snags NBA Summer League invite from Nuggets
Funk received a Summer League invitation from the NBA champion Denver Nuggets, who selected his Nittany Lions teammate Jalen Pickett with the No. 32 pick of the NBA Draft on Thursday.

Funk received a Summer League invitation from the NBA champion Denver Nuggets, who selected his Nittany Lions teammate Jalen Pickett with the No. 32 pick of the NBA Draft on Thursday.
Funk led No. 10-seeded Penn State to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in March. He dropped a historic eight three-pointers in a 76-59 first-round rout of Texas A&M, leading all scorers with 27 points.

The fifth-year senior was the most potent three-point shooter in the Big Ten and ranked in the top 25 in the nation in threes made per game (3.03) and three-point percentage (41.2%). In all, his 112 made three-pointers were the second-most in Penn State history.
