Redshirt junior guard Izaiah Brockington, who spent 10 days in the NCAA transfer portal before deciding last month to return to Penn State, announced on Twitter that he will transfer to another school after his graduation this summer.

The 6-foot-4 Brockington, an Archbishop Ryan graduate who spent two seasons with the Nittany Lions after transferring from St. Bonaventure, was second on the team in scoring (12.6 points per game) and rebounding (4.9) while shooting a team-best 84.1% on free throws in the 2020-21 season.

“I have decided to graduate from Penn State this summer and finish my basketball career elsewhere,” Brockington said in his Twitter statement. “Although I am excited about accomplishing a major goal in graduating, I am equally thrilled to see the guys and [Penn State] program grow under coach [Micah] Shrewsberry.”
