Former St. Joseph’s forward Jordan Hall headed to Texas A&M
He led all Division I freshmen in assists in 2020 and became St. Joe’s main ball handler in Ryan Daly‘s absence.
Former St. Joseph’s forward Jordan Hall announced Tuesday on Instagram that he’ll be transferring to Texas A&M.
Hall entered the transfer portal on April 28. The decision was surprising considering how well Hall’s freshman season went, but that success also opened the door for his move up to a Power 5 school. He led all Division I freshmen in assists and became St. Joe’s main ball handler in Ryan Daly‘s absence.
In his statement, Hall said that it was in his best interest to leave the Philadelphia area, which presumably eliminated chances of local schools and others, such as Pittsburgh and Rutgers, getting the forward.

The Aggies went to the Sweet 16 in 2018 but haven’t made the tournament since. Buzz Williams will be in his third season as head coach, and his track record at Marquette and Virginia Tech suggests that good things are coming. Adding a do-it-all weapon like Hall will be a big piece of that.
