Fight at Frankford home leaves man fatally shot and another in critical condition with stab wounds
The 62-year-old man was found unresponsive on the front yard of his home on the 5400 block of Harbison Avenue. He died a short time later.

A 62-year-old man was fatally shot during an altercation in which the suspected shooter was stabbed repeatedly Wednesday evening in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, police said.
Around 5:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting and stabbing on the 5400 block of Harbison Avenue and found the 62-year-old man unresponsive lying on his front yard with a gunshot wound to his chest, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The man, who lived at the house, was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:46 p.m., Small said.
An unidentified man in his 30s was also found in the yard outside with stab wounds to his arms and legs, Small said. That man was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police found a gun and three knives at the scene, Small said.
A witness told police the two men knew one another and there was an altercation between them for an unknown reason, Small said.
There was a large amount of blood inside and outside the house, Small said.
