Pregnant woman fatally wounded in North Philly shooting

A 25-year-old pregnant woman was fatally wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting happened just before 2:35 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Berks Street. Police transported the woman, who was shot in the right side of her head, to Temple University Hospital. She was pronounced dead at 6:43.
Police reported no arrests, and no other details were immediately available.
