Driver arrested after allegedly hitting police officer outside Lincoln Financial Field around the end of the Eagles’ playoff game

A person driving a car outside Lincoln Financial Field around the time the Eagles’ playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams ended hit a Philadelphia police officer Sunday night, police said.
The officer, assigned to the traffic division, was struck at around 5:57 p.m. at 1000 Pattison Ave., police said in a statement. Police described the car only as a “civilian vehicle.”
The officer was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in an ambulance.
Police had made one arrest in the case, but did not provide any additional details on the crash or the officer’s condition.
