Quarterback Jordan Jefferson played at LSU and was the starter when the Tigers were overwhelmed by Alabama in the BCS Championship Game following the 2011 season. Jefferson is third in the league in rushing at 28.7 yards per game. Soul running back Derrick Ross is second (31.2). Tampa Bay quarterback Adrian McPherson is first (37.6).
About the Soul: Dropped its first two at home . . . Coming off a resounding 72-41 win at Chicago, where it set a season high for points . . . Wide receiver Tiger Jones has 61 touchdown catches in only 22 games with the Soul. He needs three to pass Donovan Morgan and four to pass Sean Scott to get to second place in team history. He is battling an ankle injury, but practiced yesterday and will be a game-time decision. Larry Brackins is the leader with 83 . . . Quarterback Dan Raudabaugh hasn't thrown an interception in his last 94 pass attempts.

Up next: The Soul will host Orlando and former coach Doug Plank on Saturday, May 18, at 7:05. Plank guided the team to the American Conference championship last season before resigning shortly after the Soul lost to Arizona in the
ArenaBowl title game.
