Eagles’ Carson Wentz, wife Maddie are expecting their first baby: ‘What a blessing this child already is’
Wentz and his wife Maddie Oberg married last year.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is grateful this Thanksgiving for a particularly small, and special, gift.
His wife, Maddie Oberg, is expecting their first child, he announced Thursday on Twitter and Instagram.
“What a blessing this child already is and will continue to be to my wife and I,” Wentz, 26, tweeted.
So much to be thankful for, but this might take the cake! 🙌🏻 What a blessing this child already is and will continue to be to my wife and I. Family is always the most important and we are so thankful for the family… https://t.co/npmPzepj64

His Instagram post included pictures of their family dog holding pictures from an ultrasound.
Wentz announced his engagement to Oberg in February 2018, in the wake of the Eagles first Super Bowl victory, against the New England Patriots. The couple married in July 2018 in Bucks County.
