Eagles-Giants: Start time, channel, how to watch and stream Christmas game
The Eagles would solidify their hold on the NFC East with a win, but still need lots of help to end up in the No. 1 seed.
The Eagles (10-4) are home in South Philly for Christmas, hoping to end their three-game losing streak against division-rival New York Giants (5-9).
It’ll be the Birds’ first chance to face off against backup quarterback Tommy DeVito, who came back down to earth last week after leading the Giants to three straight wins. Daniel Jones, the Giants’ starter, is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL last month.
“I heard it’s a pretty hostile environment; I’m looking forward to it. I like to thrive in those environments,” DeVito told reporters Wednesday. “It’s fun. It’s part of the game. I like a hostile crowd.”
The Eagles have owned the Giants in recent years, sweeping New York in four of the past six seasons. The Giants have lost nine straight games at Lincoln Financial Field, including last season’s NFC divisional round playoff game, which is why the Birds are big favorites.
Thanks to the Dallas Cowboys’ loss on Sunday to the Miami Dolphins, the Eagles remain in the driver’s seat in the NFC East and still have a narrow path to land the NFC’s top playoff spot. Here are all the playoff scenarios for the Eagles leading up to today’s game.

The Birds will be without three starters on defense — linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee) and cornerbacks Avonte Maddox (pectoral) and Darius Slay (knee). Inside linebacker Nicholas Morrow (abdominal) is questionable to play, leaving the Eagles with just two healthy inside linebackers. On a positive note, both wide receiver DeVonta Smith (knee) and right guard Cam Jurgens (pectoral) will be available to play Monday.
