Eagles now know all their opponents for the 2025 season, and it’s going to be a tough schedule
The NFL won't release the 2025 schedule until May, but we already know who the Birds' opponents will be.
A trip to Orchard Park to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills? Jalen Hurts vs. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead?
Thanks to the Eagles’ first-place finish in the NFC East, the Birds’ schedule next season is going to be brutal, at least on paper.
For the 2025 NFL season, the Eagles will face teams from the AFC West and NFC North, two of the best divisions in the league this season. Just four of the Eagles’ 13 opponents in 2025 had a losing record this season. Among them are the 7-10 Dallas Cowboys, who will get Dak Prescott back.
In addition to tough road matchups with the Chiefs and Bills, who were both undefeated at home this season, the Eagles will also face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field and the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Packers and Vikings went a combined 14-4 at home.
The Birds will also host the No. 1 seed Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams, the winner of the NFC West, at the Linc.
The Eagles technically had nine home games this season, but one took place in Brazil. Next season, the Birds will have nine road games and eight games at the Linc.
Here’s how the NFL schedules its 17-game seasons: A team like the Eagles will play its division opponents twice, once on the road and once at home. Then it is scheduled to play one NFC division and one AFC division. For the Birds, they’ll get the AFC South and NFC West in the 2026 season, while it will be the AFC East and NFC South in 2027.
The remaining three games come against teams that finished in the same place in different divisions. So for the Eagles in the 2026 season that will be teams from the NFC South, NFC North, and AFC North.
The NFL typically waits until the middle of May to announce the full schedule for the upcoming season, so until then here’s a list of all the Birds’ opponents next season:
