The Eagles aren’t rocking dog masks anymore in 2025 — at least not yet. There’s still time. But they’re still embracing the “Dawg Mentality,” and taking that a step further by sponsoring adoption fees for local rescue dogs in the Philadelphia area.

The team announced Tuesday that they will cover adoption fees for dogs at three local shelters across the Philadelphia area: Providence Animal Center in Media, Street Tails Animal Rescue in Northern Liberties, and Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in Blackwood, N.J. The “Dawg Mentality” initiative is looking to remove financial barriers for those looking to adopt, to ensure shelter pets can find their forever home.

“This is an amazing opportunity, and we are grateful to the Eagles,” said Jo-Ann Zoll, CEO of Providence Animal Center. “There’s no doubt that partnering with them will bring visibility to these animals, which is key.”

Some of the dogs even came and visited with the Birds at the NovaCare Complex, resulting in several adorable photos and video.

The Eagles will cover adoption fees at the three shelters through the end of the playoffs. The NFC championship is Sunday at 3 p.m., and if the Birds advance to the Super Bowl, that game would be on Feb. 9.
