Lincoln Financial Field will host a Super Bowl party whether the Eagles make it or not
Verizon’s free Super Bowl FanFest will be held simultaneously at all 30 NFL stadiums on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Super Bowl LIX is set for New Orleans, and the Eagles are hoping to be there. But on Super Bowl Sunday, Verizon is hosting Super Bowl FanFest at Lincoln Financial Field, in addition to the other NFL stadiums, giving fans the chance to celebrate the big event whether the Birds are playing or not.
The event at the Linc is free to enter, and will include special access to the locker room and the field, from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Feb. 9. Eagles alumni, including former running back Darren Sproles, and Swoop will be in the building for fan meet-and-greets.
The event will also feature food from local small businesses and other fan events and activities. The Super Bowl will air live on the video board at the Linc, and fans will be able to watch from the stands and the indoor hospitality areas. Free tickets are available for Verizon customers, here, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year, but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” Leslie Berland, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, said in a statement.
If the Birds make the Super Bowl, it could be an unforgettable experience to watch at the Linc with your fellow Birds fans. If they don’t, the scene could be more like a nightmare. But with free tickets, it might be worth the risk.
