Eagles are putting playoff tickets on sale this week. Here’s what to know.
The Eagles will begin their playoff run at home at the Linc as the NFC's No. 2 seed. They'll find out their opponent on Sunday.
Eagles fans might be ready for the playoffs, but first they’ll have to tackle Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the Birds’ first-round playoff game at the Linc will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, the team announced Tuesday. The NFL has yet to announce its playoff schedule, but the Eagles’ game will take place during wild-card weekend from Saturday, Jan. 11, to Monday, Jan. 13.
The tickets will only be available online via Ticketmaster, and there is a four-ticket limit per household. The Eagles said all tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Season-ticket holders were given first dibs on purchasing seats, limiting the amount of tickets made available to fans on Thursday. Demand will be high, so expect long queues and the same headaches that seem to crop up every year when Birds fans crowd the system to purchase tickets.
You also can find tickets to the Eagles’ playoff opener at the Linc on a host of resale sites, including Seat Geek and Vivid Seats. As of Tuesday afternoon, the cheapest seats were going for between $230 and $250 before fees.
With the Eagles entering the playoffs as the NFC’s No. 2 seed, the Birds will get a second game at the Linc if they win in the first round. They also could end up hosting the NFC championship game in South Philly, depending how things play out.
Who will be the Eagles’ opponent in the wild-card game?
It will be the Washington Commanders or the Green Bay Packers, depending on what happens this Sunday.
The Commanders will end up with the No. 7 seed if they lose to the Dallas Cowboys and if the Packers beat the Chicago Bears. In that case, it would be the Commanders traveling to the Linc to face the Birds in the wild-card round.
If the Commanders win or the Packers lose, Green Bay will be the No. 7 seed and face the Eagles in the first round.
If the Commanders and Packers end the season with the same record, Washington would win the tiebreaker with a better divisional record, making it the No. 6 seed. The Packers would be the No. 7 seed and face the Eagles.
NFL playoff schedule
The playoffs begin Jan. 11 with the wild-card round, which will feature six games televised by Fox, CBS, NBC, and ESPN/ABC.
For the second straight season, one wild-card game will stream exclusively on a streaming platform. Amazon, the host of Thursday Night Football, will stream a wild-card game, one year after Peacock, NBC’s subscription service, did the same.

Wild-card round: Jan. 11-13
Divisional round: Jan. 18-19
AFC and NFC championship games: Jan. 26
