The Birds moved up to the No. 1 spot in the NFL’s power rankings, one spot above where they were in the league's Week 15 edition.

What they’re saying: “It’s nice to know that Saquon Barkley doesn't have to deliver a sonic boom every week.” — Eric Edholm

The Birds moved up to No. 1 in ESPN’s power rankings, two spots above where they were in the site’s previous rankings.

What they’re saying: “Jalen Hurts had seven turnovers in the first four games — second only to Will Levis over that span — and the Eagles started 2-2. In the ensuing 10-game win streak, he has had just three giveaways. The decision to become a more ground-heavy offense helped.”  — Tim McManus

The Eagles moved up one spot from last week’s No. 3 ranking — behind the No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs.

What they’re saying: “They keep on rolling in the NFC East, and the passing game came alive against the Steelers. But they do face a tough game on the road against the Commanders this week.” — Pete Prisco

The Eagles are at the No. 2 spot in The Ringer’s power rankings, two spots above where they were in the Week 15 installment.

What they’re saying: "Hurts passed the test by winning from the pocket and making the throws that make this offense nearly impossible to guard. Receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith accounted for 219 of Hurts’ 290 passing yards and both of his touchdowns, and this offense looks totally unstoppable again." — Diante Lee

The Eagles had their biggest jump this week in Sports Illustrated’s power rankings, moving up four spots from last week’s No. 6 ranking.

What they’re saying: “In this particular game, they served to create space efficiently, or to freeze defenders and buy Jalen Hurts more time in the pocket indirectly. Down the stretch, Saquon Barkley will obviously matter, but the utilization of him as a decoy will matter nearly as much.” — Conor Orr
