The Eagles will be the NFC's No. 2 seed, and will host at least one playoff game at the Linc in South Philly.

The Eagles are on their way back to the playoffs, winning the NFC East and securing the division’s No. 2 seed with Sunday’s 41-7 rout of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Birds still have one more game to play before the playoffs start — a meaningless 1 p.m. matchup against the New York Giants at the Linc where the Eagles will likely rest most of their starters. It’s unclear if that will include Saquon Barkley, who is just 100 yards short of Eric Dickerson’s NFL record for most rushing yards in a season.

Here’s everything we know about the Eagles playoff schedule, wild-card opponent, and how to get tickets.

This will be updated as more information becomes available.

2024 NFL playoff schedule

The NFL playoffs begin on Saturday, Jan. 11, with the wild-card round, which will feature six games airing on Fox, CBS, NBC, and ESPN/ABC.

For the second-straight season, one wild-card game will stream exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s subscription service.

Here’s the 2024-25 NFL playoff schedule:

  1. Wild-card round: Jan. 11 to 13

  2. Divisional round: Jan. 18 to 19

  3. AFC and NFC championship games: Jan. 26

  4. Super Bowl LIX: Sunday, Feb. 9, 6:30 p.m.

Heading into Week 18, just one playoff spot remains in the NFC, and it will go to whichever team wins the NFC South — either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Atlanta Falcons.

Here’s the NFC playoff picture:

Over in the AFC there’s also just one playoff spot remaining. The Denver Broncos are in the driver’s seat for the final wild-card spot, but it could also go to the Miami Dolphins or Cincinnati Bengals.

Who will the Eagles play in the wild card round?

The Eagles will be the No. 2 seed, but it remains unclear which team they’ll face in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

It will be the Washington Commanders or Green Bay Packers.

The Commanders will end up with the No. 7 seed if they lose Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys or if the Green Bay Packers win against the Chicago Bears. In that case, it’d be the Commanders traveling to the Linc to face the Birds in the wild-card round.

If the Commanders win or the Packers lose, Green Bay will be the No. 7 seed and face the Eagles in the first-round of the playoffs.

What date and time is the Eagles first playoff game?

That also remains unclear.

The NFL won’t announce a schedule until we know the result of Week 18′s Sunday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. The winner will take the NFC North and the No. 1 seed, meaning a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The loser will drop to the No. 5 seed.

In previous years, the NFL has announced the playoff schedule during the closing minutes of its final Sunday Night Football broadcast.

The Eagles will almost certainly play on either Saturday or Sunday during wild-card weekend. The NFL typically schedules a first-round game between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds on Monday night so it knows the divisional home teams by Sunday night.

Last year the Eagles were the No. 5 seed and played their first-round game against the No. 4 Buccaneers on Monday.

How can I get Eagles playoff tickets?

Wild-card tickets went on sale earlier this month, when the Eagles officially clinched a playoff spot.

You can find tickets to the Eagles’ playoff opener at the Linc on a host of resale sites, including Ticketmaster, Seat Geek, and Vivid Seats. As of Monday morning, the cheapest seats were going for $250 to $275 before fees.

If the Eagles win their wild-card game, they would host a divisional playoff game at the Linc. Last year, the team put tickets for their divisional-round game on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday leading up to their wild-card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with season ticket holders getting first dibs at seats. It’s unclear if the Eagles will sell tickets on the same timeline this season.
