Pat McAfee breaks down the Eagles’ botched wrestling celebration on RAW

WWE has taken notice of the attempted interception celebration from Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, who were rookies at pulling off Triple H's finishing move.

Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell celebrates a fourth-quarter interception against the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 in Philadelphia.

Quinyon Mitchell notching his first career interception provided a feel-good way to cap off the Eagles’ playoff win over the Green Bay Packers.

But what was even more memorable was the botched celebration that followed.

After the pick, Mitchell waved over fellow rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean so that the former could attempt the wrestling finishing move known as “the Pedigree” — made famous by Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Unfortunately for the pair of rookies, their homage to “The Game” did not go so well. Triple H even said so.

Naturally, this was prime material for WWE announcer/former NFL punter Pat McAfee, who broke down the poorly-executed celebration with a telestrator during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

“I think what Quinyon Mitchell did is worthy of a 10 in concept, but a three in execution!” McAfee explained while San Francisco 49ers fans at the SAP Center in San Jose booed the site of the Eagles being played on video boards in the arena.
