The real Jason Kelce reacts to Philly’s look-alike contest: ‘Any overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me’
The former Eagles center has a new social media profile picture after one fan made him do a double take.
A group of bearded men wearing cardigans and green velour suits — some even going shirtless in the cold — occupied Rittenhouse Square on Saturday for a Jason Kelce look-alike contest.
The former Eagles center watched highlights of the event on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown ahead of Monday’s matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Las Vegas Raiders. But it’s safe to say Kelce wasn’t exactly impressed with most of the contestants.
“News flash,” Kelce said on Monday Night Countdown. “Any overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me. What are we talking about? It’s an easy competition. There is absolutely nothing unique about any of these gentlemen other than they are large people with beards, and of Caucasian complexion.”

But there was one bearded man — wearing Kelce’s signature Big Lebowski-inspired cardigan — that stood out to Kelce among the rest. Kelce was so impressed that he said he wanted to make that contestant his new profile picture on X.
“That guy is spot-on,” Kelce said. “That’s my new profile picture.”
Kelce, being a man of his word, has since updated his profile picture.
Other contestants were seen wearing Eagles jerseys, beanies, and Kelce’s Mummer-inspired look. Some ladies even participated in the contest, wearing their most realistic fake beards. A green carpet was rolled out and many of the doppelgängers entertained the crowd and judges by snapping the football, recreating the Tush Push, and of course ripping off their shirts.

The contestant in the maroon sweatshirt and holding the case of Garage Beer was announced the winner of Saturday’s contest.
Although the cardigan-wearing Kelce look-alike didn’t win the event, his face is the new profile picture of the actual Kelce’s social media page. So who’s the real winner here?
