Jason Kelce reveals who he’s rooting for in Super Bowl LIX: ‘I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce’
Jason and Travis Kelce talked about the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl matchup on the latest episode of ‘New Heights’

Hey Siri, play “Believe” by Cher.
According to Jason Kelce, this 1990s hit is the song of Super Bowl LIX as the Eagles head to New Orleans to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
“This is the [expletive] song of Super Bowl 59 baby,” Kelce said on the latest episode of New Heights. “Eagles, [expletive] Chiefs, do you believe it? I’m [expletive] so into this right now.”
This year’s game is a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl, also known as the Kelce Super Bowl, when both Jason and Travis competed against one another in the NFL’s annual grand finale. Unfortunately for Jason, his younger brother emerged victorious in a 38-35 Chiefs win.
Now, a retired Jason will have a different view of the game. Instead of playing against his brother, he’ll be on the sideline, watching. This leaves the former Eagles center torn between his blood brother and the family he’s made here in Philadelphia.
“Obviously, you’re my brother, I’ll always root for my brother. That’s the reality of it. All right,” Kelce said. “Even though I’m decked out in Eagles gear, I’m always going to root for Travis.”
“Take that Philly,” Travis responded.
“But, there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization, whether it’s players, coaches, people in the building that feel like [an] extended family to me,” Kelce continued. “Especially my former linemen. Lane Johnson feels like a brother in a lot of ways, and I’m rooting for those guys too. I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it. No matter what, on game day I’m going to be happy...I would be lying if I said I [didn’t] want the Eagles to win. You know what I mean? I want them to. But I also want Travis Kelce to win.”
As for what he plans to wear for the Super Bowl, he said he’ll wear some New Heights merchandise. When asked if he could pull off their mom’s iconic half Eagles, half Chiefs looks, he responded “I can’t wear red. I can’t bring myself to it.”
As the Eagles prepare to win their second Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of making history. Not only will they be the first team ever to win back-to-back Super Bowls and then make it back the following year, but with a win they’ll become the first team to three-peat.
“I’m feeling great, man,” Travis said. “Life is amazing. It’s a crazy feeling to be this fortunate in a game that you’ve been playing your entire life and I’ve had a lot of heartbreak. I’ve had a lot of times where it hasn’t been this sweet and right now I’m just riding the high of living this dream out with my brothers and everybody in Kansas City.”
Although the former Eagles center is torn between two teams on Super Bowl Sunday, he’s proud of what his former team has accomplished so far this season.
“As a retired Eagle, I’m immensely happy for these guys,” Kelce said. “I got to watch a bunch of guys that are really, really close to me and were pivotal — either coaches, players, teammates or staff — I got to watch a lot of people win a monumentally huge game…I’m just so incredibly happy and proud that these guys have persevered and stuck together, got it done and found themselves back in the Super Bowl just two years being removed from the last time we were there.”
