You’re probably having a better night than Josh Rosen.

The former UCLA quarterback was drafted by the Cardinals with the 10th overall pick in 2018. A year later, he’s watching his competition get picked first overall.

Arizona used their No. 1 pick on Heisman winner Kyler Murray, making him the only player to be drafted in the first rounds of both the NFL and MLB drafts.

He also helped his college program make history: Oklahoma is the only school to get quarterbacks drafted first overall in two consecutive drafts following Baker Mayfield’s selection by the Browns last year.

But all of this comes at the expense of Rosen, who struggled at times in his rookie season but received a vote of confidence from new Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury -- who helped recruit Murray to Texas A&M while Murray was in high school and Kingsbury was an assistant in College Station -- just two months ago.

Social media had a lot to say about Murray -- and the situation Rosen is now in.

Some thought Rosen had done a good job throughout all the speculation this offseason, and he should be rewarded for it.

Former Patriots star Tedy Bruschi brought up an obvious point on Twitter: what kind of position does this put Rosen in?

While Murray’s selection came with very little surprise, there was something unexpected early in the first round.

The Oakland Raiders selected Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell with the fourth overall pick, choosing him over players like Kentucky’s Josh Allen, Florida State’s Brian Burns and Michigan’s Rashan Gary.

The unexpected choice is coming days after rumors began to spread that Jon Gruden and new general manager Mike Mayock sent all Oakland’s scouts home after they weren’t sure who they could trust in the war room.
