Update: Margera has reentered a rehab facility following his arrest in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The former Jackass star was readmitted to the facility hours after his arrest, and reportedly agreed to a list of conditions as part of his treatment. He initially left the rehab just days after his admission last week.

Former Jackass star Bam Margera is behind bars after being arrested in Los Angeles late Tuesday night.

Margera, a West Chester native, was arrested just before midnight after he showed up at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles and demanded a room, according to The Blast. A hotel employee reportedly told Margera that no rooms were available, prompting Margera to refuse leaving the premises until he was supplied with one. TMZ reports that a staffer placed Margera under citizens arrest and called police.

Police arrived to find a reportedly “highly-intoxicated” Margera, TheBlast reports. According to police records, the LAPD booked Margera at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and are holding him on $1,000 bail. He faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge, reports indicate.

Video of the incident provided by TMZ shows Margera sitting on the floor of the hotel in a heated discussion with a police officer and hotel guests. In the clip, a police officer can be heard telling Margera to “get your s- together” because “this is not a f- reality TV show.”

“It actually is,” Margera replies.

News of Margera’s arrest comes following a bizarre plea for help to Dr. Phil McGraw last week, which resulted in the star’s entry into a rehab facility for a course of treatment that was to last 60 to 90 days. According to TMZ, Margera checked out of the facility after several days.

Earlier this week, Margera posted video to Instagram of himself getting a tattoo of Dr. Phil’s name on his neck in which he thanked the TV personality for attempting to get him help.

This is Margera’s second recent arrest in Los Angeles following a drunk driving arrest in January last year. In that incident, California Highway Patrol officers stopped the star early in morning after reportedly seeing him talking on his cell phone while driving. After conducting field sobriety tests, Margera was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, and was later released on $15,000 bail. According to TMZ, he avoided jail time in that case, but received three years’ probation, as well as an order to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, plus undisclosed fines and fees. He reportedly checked himself into a rehab facility after the arrest.

“The only thing that we really want is for Bam to be happy and to find peace in his life and in turn we’d like to find peace in ours,” Margera’s mother, April, told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. “We just have to take one step at a time and hope that everything is going to work out okay.”
