From Bradley Cooper to Taylor Swift: Who has the better Super Bowl fan base? A totally unbiased (not really) take
Eagles vs. Chiefs: Which team has the best celebrity fans? From Bradley Cooper to Taylor Swift, we break down the A-list loyalties, the diehards vs. the bandwagoners, and why Philly reigns supreme.

With the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs set to clash in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, the battle isn’t just on the field — it’s playing out in Hollywood, music charts, and VIP suites.
Both teams boast die-hard fan bases, but let’s settle this once and for all: Which city actually has the best celebrity fans? Spoiler alert — it’s the one that boos Santa and still knows how to spell “E-A-G-L-E-S” even after a few tailgate beers (…well, most of us do — more on that later).
From A-listers to comedy legends to White House representation, let’s breakdown who’s backing who.
The celebrity showdown: Who’s repping who?
Chiefs Kingdom: Hollywood likes a bandwagon
Kansas City’s fan list includes some respectable names:
Paul Rudd — Yeah, OK, everyone loves Paul Rudd. He doesn’t age and he seems nice. Born in New Jersey, raised in Kansas, Rudd’s been a Chiefs fan for a while — but can we really picture him losing his voice screaming at the refs? Doubt it.
Jason Sudeikis — Ted Lasso would probably be an Eagles fan, but we’ll let this one slide. Sudeikis has repped the Chiefs in plenty of interviews. He even voiced a Super Bowl hype video … so he’s basically their Bradley Cooper, but with a mustache.
Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert — Country queens, but Eagles fans prefer a little more rock in our music. Crow is a Missouri native and has performed at Chiefs events, but Lambert? Not from KC, not really associated with the team — just a country superstar Chiefs fans like to claim.
Brad Pitt — Sure, he was born in Oklahoma, but Chiefs fans claim him. He’s been spotted at a couple of games, but do we really think Brad Pitt is out here analyzing the offensive line? Feels flimsy.
Rob Riggle, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner — We’ll give them this: they’re real fans. Riggle does Chiefs comedy sketches, Stonestreet is basically their most visible Hollywood superfan, and Gardner reps her hometown on SNL. But if comedy is Kansas City’s biggest strength … we’re not worried.
Henry Winkler — The Fonz? Respect. But he also loves Patrick Mahomes, so … yawn. It’s more of a Mahomes thing than a Chiefs thing.
And then, there’s Taylor Swift.
Yes, T-Swift once publicly declared herself an Eagles fan. Yes, she’s from Berks County. Yes, we reported on it. But suddenly, she’s trading green for Chiefs red, sitting in a VIP suite every Sunday for her man, Travis Kelce.
Love is blind, but bandwagoning is a choice, Taylor.
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid is dating Bradley Cooper, an actual lifelong Eagles fan, and guess what? She hasn’t suddenly started waving a green pom-pom in press boxes for clout. Take notes.
Eagles Nation: Pure star power, pure Philly energy
Our list? Stronger. More iconic. More Philly.
Bradley Cooper — Not only is he a die-hard fan, he literally played one in Silver Linings Playbook. He’s a Jenkintown native, has been to countless games, and isn’t afraid to look completely unhinged in the stands.
Kevin Hart — The heart and soul (and loudest mouth) of Eagles fandom. He tried to storm the Super Bowl LII stage and grab the Lombardi Trophy. Security had to physically remove him. That’s passion.
Quinta Brunson — Emmy winner, Philly native, Birds lover. Triple threat. She’s made it clear she reps Philly sports with pride and has even talked trash about the Chiefs in front of Ashton Kutcher on TV.
Miles Teller — Hands-down a better Top Gun wingman than Mahomes has. Downingtown’s own, Teller has been vocal about his Eagles fandom. He even starred in a Super Bowl ad in 2023.
Pink — No explanation needed. Before singing the national anthem at the 2018 Super Bowl, she posted: “I’ve arrived at another one of my dreams which is slowly becoming a sort of nightmare. I will tell you, this is one of the biggest honors of my life, singing this song in front of my family, my military family, my dad and brother and step mama and family and the world. And the EAGLES!?!?! I promise I will do my best, as I always do.” She was sick with the flu. She still crushed it. That’s Philly.
Mike Trout — He might play baseball in California, but his Eagles loyalty runs deep. A season-ticket holder since at least 2013, Trout has front-row seats at Lincoln Financial Field.
Bryce Harper — Adopted Philly sports guy, and he gets it. If Philly had an honorary citizenship program, he’d be first in line.
Will Smith — West Philadelphia, born and raised. Enough said. But then again, you don’t have to believe what we say, just listen to this fan bop Smith dropped a few days ago.
Questlove — Drum line for an Eagles Super Bowl parade? We can dream.
Rob McElhenney — It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia isn’t just a show, it’s a lifestyle.
Jake Tapper — The CNN anchor may report on politics, but when it comes to football, there’s no neutrality — he’s all in on the Birds.
Jill Biden — Literally was the first lady. When the Eagles play, she’s in green.
Even former President Joe Biden knew what’s up when he famously said on X: “As your president, I’m not picking favorites. But as Jill Biden’s husband … Fly Eagles Fly.”
Fan Culture: Battery throwers vs. BBQ enthusiasts
Chiefs fans? They tailgate with world-class BBQ and Midwestern friendliness. That’s … cute. Their celebrity fans? They mostly keep it light — enjoying the games from plush VIP suites, showing up when it’s convenient (cough Taylor Swift cough), and cracking a few jokes on late-night TV.
Eagles fans? Our celebrity fans live this vibe.
We once booed Santa Claus — because we don’t tolerate mediocrity, even from St. Nick.
We threw batteries at J.D. Drew — ok, not our finest moment, but passion? Never in doubt.
We don’t sit quietly. We don’t say “good game.” We let you know exactly how we feel.
Kansas City fans do the Chop — which, let’s be honest, is racist. Eagles fans? We belt out “Fly, Eagles, Fly” loud enough to shake the Linc and your soul.
Sure, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker may have spelled “Eagles” as “E-L-G-S-E-S” in a viral moment — but she meant what she said. Even when we fumble the spelling, we never fumble our passion.
The Verdict? Come on.
Philly fans are unmatched, unrivaled, and just a little terrifying. We bleed green. We live and die with this team. Our celebrities don’t just cheer from luxury suites — they lose their voices, jump into the madness, and wear their fandom like a second skin. Kansas City has a nice fan base. Respectable. But when it comes to passion, intensity, and outright insanity, there’s no competition.
So, sorry Chiefs fans (and Taylor), but Eagles Nation reigns supreme.
And as Jill Biden (and her husband) would say: Fly Eagles Fly.
