For Haley Osment, a brand-new stage

Things are a bit crazy backstage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. It's two hours before the curtain goes up for the first preview performance of director Anders Cato's staging of Red, John Logan's two-man biographical drama about abstract expressionist Mark Rothko.

Haley Joel Osment is appearing here in "Red" — his first starring role in a major play since graduating from New York University. He’s 23 now, 12 years removed from "The Sixth Sense."
