Taylor Swift performs at the Linc
Taylor Swift's Red tour arrived in South Philadelphia for first of two sold out shows at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, at long last bringing the 23-year-old pop star who grew up "just down the road" in Wyomissing, Pa., to town in support of her latest mega selling album, which came out late last year.
In front of 50,000-plus adoring fans, Swift played the banjo as she fought back against antagonists real or imagined in "Mean"; dabbled in dubstep in "I Knew You Were Trouble"; sat at a red grand piano on the hair ballad "All Too Well"; and was joined by English opener Ed Sheeran on a second stage that rose high above the crowd on "Everything Has Changed."
A full review will be up online Saturday and in Sunday's Inquirer.
A set list for Friday's show is below.
