The Flyers, coming off a disastrous March, may soon inject some prospects into their listless lineup.

They recalled forwards Tanner Laczynski and Linus Sandin from the AHL’s Phantoms to their taxi squad Thursday. In addition, they sent forwards Connor Bunnaman and Carsen Twarynski from their taxi squad to Lehigh Valley.

Laczynski, 23, a sixth-round draft selection in 2016 who starred at Ohio State, has 10 points (6 goals, 4 assists) in 14 games with the Phantoms. This is the 6-foot-1, 190-pound center/winger’s first pro season.

Sandin, 24, who is also in his initial pro season in North America, has five points (2 goals, 3 assists) in 13 games with Lehigh Valley. The 6-1, 209-pound right winger was signed as a free agent last spring after a big season in the Swedish Hockey League, finishing tied for third in the league with 19 goals.

Bunnaman has one point, an assist, in 18 games with the Flyers this season, and Twarynski has no points in four games with the big-league team. Both played sparingly in the Flyers’ 6-1 loss Wednesday in Buffalo.

The Flyers will practice Friday, then will face the host New York Islanders on Saturday night. The Flyers are 3-1-1 against the Isles this season.
