Google searches for ‘abortion pill’ soared after the court leak

Internet searches for the pills, which require a prescription, were higher in states with less access to abortion, a study found.

Google searches soared for mifepristone (Mifeprex) and misoprostol, the two drugs used in a medication abortion, after the draft Supreme Court ruling was leaked May 2 and again when the decision was released June 24. The pills were photographed at a New Mexico clinic.
