The U.S. Surgeon General has warned of a youth mental health crisis in our communities. Anxiety, depression, and thoughts of suicide can affect even young children and are a special concern among children of color. On Inquirer LIVE, senior health and science editor Letitia Stein and mental health reporter Abraham Gutman will discuss what mental health looks like at a young age — and what parents can do to help — with Dr. Wanjiku F.M. Njoroge, director of the Young Child Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
