A Michigan judge gave a drug dealer a second chance. Sixteen years later, he swore him in as a lawyer.

Instead of throwing the book at him, the judge gave him probation and a challenge to return with an achievement. “He understood I believed he could be anything he wanted to be,” said the judge.
