What are your Wildest Dreams?

This piece is a part of the Wildest Dreams project.
In mid-September, The Philadelphia Inquirer launched the first installment of Wildest Dreams — an anthology of Black cultural inheritance, legacy and joy. The series, produced by a team of Black journalists, opened with several pieces, including Elizabeth Wellington’s personal essay about her family’s range of complexions, and Mensah Dean’s article explaining reverse migration, the trend of Black people moving to the South.
We’re just getting started. By sharing stories of our traditions, we want to start a conversation — one that includes, and centers, Black voices across the city.
Now, we want to hear from you.
How does legacy carry on in your work, in your passions, or in your life?
Whose shoulders do you stand upon? How do their dreams manifest in you?
Please fill out the form below to tell us about your wildest dreams and share your responses to any — or all — of the questions with us.
