Toy drive, car show at farm

MEDFORD - Johnson's Corner Farm in Medford will host its third annual holiday Toys for Tots toy drive and classic car show Saturday.

The farm will provide a free hayride ticket for each unwrapped gift that visitors present to the collection center, where members of the Marine Corps will be on hand to receive donated items from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

New toys, sporting equipment, and clothing for children under 12 make ideal gifts for the program. The drive does not accept or distribute gifts containing food or realistic toy weapons. The farm collected more than 800 toys last year for distribution to needy families.

The collection is sponsored by the Marine Corps Reserve. The car show will feature more than 100 vintage vehicles.

Johnson's Corner Farm is at Hartford and Church Roads.
