Vehicle strikes, kills 17-year-old bicyclist in Roxborough, police say
The bicyclist was riding on Henry near Hermit Lane when the accident occurred at 5:40 p.m. Sunday.
A 17-year-old boy was killed late Sunday afternoon when the bicycle he was riding on Henry Avenue in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, was struck by a vehicle, Philadelphia police said.
The victim, who police did not name, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The bicyclist was traveling eastbound on the 5400 block of Henry near Hermit Lane when the accident occurred at 5:40 p.m., police said, adding that the driver remained at the scene.
An investigation was continuing Sunday night.
No other injuries were reported.
