‘A moral imperative’: Icon of liberal Judaism issues new call to arms on 50th anniversary of groundbreaking Freedom Seder
The social tumult of the ‘60s compelled Rabbi Arthur Ocean Waskow to organize his first groundbreaking reimagining of the feast marking the beginning of Passover -- an event he dubbed “The Freedom Seder.” Fifty years later, Waskow said, the current political moment calls for another revision.
