Police: Grenade found at SEPTA station nothing to worry about

SEPTA police found a grenade shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday on the westbound side of the SEPTA Market-Frankford El station at Independence Mall and Market Street, Philadelphia Police said.

The Bomb Squad determined that the device was “inert,” police said.

It had been found underground, near the elevator.
