Man arrested in Pennsylvania for killings of 4 University of Idaho students; suspect awaits extradition

  • Bryan C. Kohberger, 28, was taken into custody in Monroe County on Friday in connection with the killings of four University of Idaho students.

  • The four students — Ethan Chapin, 20; Xana Kernodle, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21 — were stabbed to death Nov. 13. Their deaths left the close-knit community stunned and grieving.

  • Kohberger will be extradited to Idaho. Officials there said they could not release more details about the case against him until that happens.
