Man being sought for questioning in Gloucester County homicide, 4 deaths in New Mexico
Sean Lannon, most recently of New Mexico but who has roots in New Jersey, was considered 'armed and dangerous,' authorities said.
A 47-year-old man is being sought for questioning in the homicide of a Gloucester County resident and the deaths of four people in New Mexico, authorities said Tuesday.
Sean Lannon, most recently of New Mexico but who has roots in New Jersey, has been identified as a person of interest in the killing of a man in East Greenwich Township on Monday. Authorities have not identified the victim except to say he was in his 60s and was acquainted with Lannon.
Lannon, who is considered “armed and dangerous,” also faces burglary and knife-possession charges related to a break-in that occurred Monday in Elk Township, Gloucester County.
Authorities said Lannon may be driving a blue Honda CR-V with the license plate of U71JXG. The car was possibly last seen in Camden on Monday around 3 p.m. near the Walter Rand Transportation Center.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said Lannon was a person of interest in the homicides of four people whose bodies were found in a car Friday in an Albuquerque airport parking garage.
The victims were identified as Matthew Miller, 21, Jennifer Lannon, 39, Jesten Mata, 40, and Randal Apostalon, 60.
Authorities declined to say whether Sean Lannon was related to Jennifer Lannon.
In early February, police in Grants, N.M., said they were looking for Mata and Jennifer Lannon in connection with the disappearance of Miller.
Later that month, police in Grants announced they were instead looking for Daniel Lemos, 45, who goes by the nickname “Dog” or “Perro,” in connection with the disappearance of Miller as well as Lannon, and Mata.
Authorities have not described any suspected motives for the disappearances or homicides.

The prosecutor’s office said later Tuesday night that the U.S. Marshal’s Service was offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Lannon’s arrest.
