Steven Spielberg is heading to the Jersey Shore this spring to film his latest UFO movie, and the production team is searching for local extras to join the cast.

The film, currently using the code name Non-View, is set to release in summer 2026 and will shoot in Cape May for five days in March, according to a casting call from Grant Wilfley Casting posted on Facebook.

While details remain scarce, Non-View is rumored to be a UFO-centered story and boasts a star-studded cast, including Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer), Colin Firth (The King’s Speech), Josh O’Connor (Challengers), Eve Hewson (Flora and Son), and Philadelphia native Colman Domingo (Sing Sing).

Variety reports Non-View is an original story from Spielberg, penned by longtime collaborator David Koepp, who worked with him on Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and War of the Worlds. Universal Pictures describes the film as a “new original event film.”

Casting call for Cape May locals

The casting company is looking for Cape May locals to portray train station passengers and drivers in cars for the movie, which will tentatively film from Monday, March 10, to Friday, March 14, in Cape May.

No prior acting experience is required, but applicants must be at least 18 years old and have valid identification to confirm employment eligibility. The gig will pay $216 for 8 hours of work. Extras whose vehicles are used on set will receive an additional $37.50. Transportation and lodging are not provided.
