Man on bike fatally hit by SEPTA bus in Northeast Philly
The accident happened in the 9900 block of Frankford Avenue.
An unidentified man riding a bicycle died after being struck by a SEPTA bus Wednesday night in Northeast Philadelphia, officials said.
Just before 7:40 p.m., the man, described as around 40 years old, was hit by a Route 66 bus while on the 9900 block of Frankford Avenue, police said. He was taken by medics to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and pronounced dead at 8:53. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
