Man shot dead in Kensington

The fatal shooting happened just before 6:45 p.m. in the 2800 block of C Street.

A 20-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday evening in the city’s Kensington section, police said.

Just before 6:45 p.m., the man was in the 2800 block of C Street when he was shot repeatedly throughout his body, police said. He was transported by medics to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 7:12. Police reported no arrests and no further information about the victim. Dozens of shell casings were located at the crime scene.
