Man, 31, killed in East Frankford shooting

A 31-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the city’s East Frankford section, police said.

Just before 3:25 p.m., the man, who was not identified, was outside on the 4900 block of Charles Street when he was shot in the head and left leg. Police took him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:20

Police reported no arrests, and no other details were released.
