On-duty parking enforcement officer stabbed near Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
The 25-year-old employee of the Philadelphia Parking Authority was listed in stable condition.
An on-duty parking-enforcement officer was hospitalized in stable condition after being stabbed Monday evening near Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City, police said.
The 25-year-old employee of the Philadelphia Parking Authority was stabbed four times in the chest and lower torso around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 10th and Locust Streets, police said. He was able to walk to Jefferson’s emergency room.
Police had a suspect in custody and a weapon was recovered as evidence.
