A community mourns and rallies against gun violence

Ross Carter, a 2020 Gratz High School graduate who helped last season’s Bulldogs to the Class 6A city title, was shot and killed in late September while sitting on a friend’s porch in Nicetown. An anti-gun violence rally was held outside of the high school on Oct. 23, 2020 which featured Gratz graduate and NBA great Rasheed Wallace.

His grandmother, Michelle Brown, is hugged following the ceremony.
