Man found dead in the trunk of his car Sunday afternoon

A man was found dead in the trunk of his vehicle on the 400 block of North Fifth Street, Philadelphia police said Sunday.

The 31-year-old unidentified man was discovered wrapped in a tarp at 3:27 p.m. and pronounced dead by the police medic unit at 3:36 p.m.

According to police, as of Sunday night no weapons had been recovered and no arrests had been announced.
