Day 2: North Philly shooting suspect in custody after 7 1/2-hour standoff

A gunman who police say shot six Philadelphia police officers Wednesday surrendered and is in custody after a 7 1/2-hour standoff in the Tigoa section of North Philadelphia. On Thursday, police were investigating the crime scene with help from the ATF and FBI.

At 3:30 a.m. the suspect, Maurice Hill, was walked from Temple University Hospital's emergency room to a Philadelphia Police van. Hill is allegedly responsible for shooting six Philadelphia police officers in the North Philly area.
